This year the Painting and Sculpture Competition took place at Casino of Salies-de-Béarn The lucky winner of this year 2021 is Anastassia Chugunova Tetrel.
Who is Anastacia Chugunova Tetrel?
Anastassia Chugunova Tetrel is a painter of Russian origin and a graduate of the Higher School of Fine Arts in Moscow, the Higher School of Art in Grenoble and the Higher School of Art and Design in Amiens.
In parallel to her artistic work, she has been collaborating for many years with various museums and communities such as the MUCEM, the Réattu Museum, the MOPA school, the Marie Baschkirtzeff Foundation, the city of Arles and the Fondation de France.
The weather did not spoil this event which gathered 70 artists. Anastassia Tetrel had chosen a side of the garden of the Hôtel du Parc and won the 1st place thanks to her talent and the details brought on her painting.
The famous contest, which runs from Sunday, July 11, 2021 until July 14, 2021, started off strong with more than 60 entries at the opening. In the 3 villages to be painted: Saint-Dos, Saint-Pé-de-Léren and Léren, 35 of the 60 painters registered at 10 am, some of them coming from Corrèze or Spain, put down their easels, looking for the right place, the effects of lights, the color, the landscapes or the buildings of character as Hotel du Parc of Grand Casino de Salies-de-Béarn.
